everyday philosophy

work is not
and should never
be a chore

it is what
you think about
in your sleep

it takes you
to places beautiful
and people interesting

you can build
empires on playgrounds
factories on sandwiches

pastries on mountains
chocolates in ghana
poems at home

you should never
work and work
and get stroke

work is play
choose the one
that suits you

where your wife
can work together
with your daughter

for close interaction
with near and dear
gives many joys

rather than work
for that firm
with public shares

with fancy suits
and swanky cars
and flashy watches

dont be afraid
of an empty
resume or cv

it may mean
you are leading
your own life

not some volunteer
or personal assistant
or internship junkie

just to get
a very prestigious
Em Bee Aye

or if you
are an entrepreneur
then let go

of it all
and start building
your own kingdom

where you decide
imagination runs wild
interesting people thrive

because you know
work is where
time is spent

almost as much
as all the
time spent asleep

so be careful
and listen to
your inner voice

which will suggest
what you truly
seek and desire

life is short
i am preachy
so is everybody

and i hope
and wish that
you have choices

so better you
do what you
really really enjoy
